Privacy

Paveo is built so that we hold as little about you as possible. This page says exactly what that is.

The software

Paveo runs on your machines and opens no network connections. It sends us nothing: not your prompts, completions or tool arguments, not your audit logs, and not how much you use it. Licence keys and trials are checked on your machine, with no call to us. We hold no data from your use of Paveo, because none reaches us.

This website

This site sets no cookies and runs no analytics or trackers, and it loads nothing from any other site. It is hosted by Vercel, which keeps standard request logs (such as IP address, browser and time) to run and protect the service, under Vercel's privacy policy. We don't use those logs to identify anyone.

When you buy

Paddle.com is our reseller and the merchant of record for every order. At checkout, Paddle collects your name, email address, billing address and payment details, under Paddle's privacy notice. We receive from Paddle what we need to issue your licence key and support you: your name, email address, country, plan and order references. We never see your card details.

When you contact us

If you write to us, we keep the conversation so we can answer and support you. GitHub issues are public and covered by GitHub's privacy statement; don't put anything private in one. A security report sent through GitHub's private reporting is visible only to us.

What we don't do

We don't sell or rent personal data, we don't advertise, and we share it with no one except the services named on this page, who process it to do their job: Vercel for hosting, Paddle for payments, GitHub for issues and reports, and our email provider for email.

How long we keep it

We keep customer records for as long as you have a subscription, and afterwards for as long as tax and accounting law requires. Correspondence is kept while it is useful for supporting you, then deleted.

Your rights

You can ask what we hold about you, and ask us to correct or delete it, through the contact details on our site. We answer within 30 days. If you are in the European Union or the United Kingdom, you can also complain to your data protection authority.

Changes

If this page changes, the date at the top changes with it. A change that affects paying customers is also sent to them by email.
